First FO of 2008!

Blue Diagonal Scarf (#1)
Pattern: Cashmere Diagonal Scarf by Iris Schreier (for ArtYarns)
Yarn: Noro Kureyon (100% wool) in #166, 2 skeins; Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted (85% wool, 15% mohair) in M-05 Onyx, 1.1 skeins (*stashbusting*)
Needles: US #9 (5.5mm)
Finished Size: I can't measure it right now because the cat is asleep on it


I started this in October and finished it this evening while I was watching Project Runway on the HUGE NEW TV (more on that later).


This is one of my favorite Kureyon colorways. They don't seem to do that many with really good blues, and the royal blue next to the sky blue in this yarn is amazing.


Since her cat mat isn't done yet, Cece is currently lounging on my newest FO. She does love her knitwear.

And now, a dilemma! I have no freaking clue what to knit next! As always, I have a few projects in progress, but when I finish one I want to immediately start a new one, and I'm just drawing a blank. I have so much beautiful yarn, and so many patterns in my queue on Ravelry, but they're not working together in my brain, and nothing's really jumping out at me. I can't believe I'm drawing a frickin blank here! Maybe it's because there are too many choices and my brain is therefore skidding to a halt. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be less brain dead.

As I was saying, new tv! My brother and his wife bought themselves a new TV for Christmas, so they gave me their old one, which is a 36" (which is MASSIVE compared to my old 21"). We got it set up today and I've been just kind of in awe of it.


Yes, I sat on my couch taking pictures of the tv. And the hot guys on the tv. And yes, I actually did go to Target today with the sole purpose of buying 300 so we could watch it on the new tv (I didn't watch it this evening--I just fast forwarded to hot scenes--which ones aren't hot?).
