FO: Dashing (#2)
Pattern: Dashing by Cheryl Niamath from Knitty, Spring 2007
Yarn: Cascade 220 (100% wool) in color #9411, 1 skein
Needles: 2 US #7 (4.5mm) circulars
Size: smaller
Blocking: none

I really like how the cables look--though mine didn't end up being symmetrical. I think I changed something somewhere and it didn't work (and I still can't figure out how that happened--it should've worked). These also ended up way longer than I expected, but they'll be nice when it's really cold (I mostly use fingerless gloves when I'm driving so my hands don't freeze but I still have a good grip on the wheel).

I only made a few changes--I ended up shortening the section after you place the thumb opening. I only did 9 rows there instead of 18, and I shortened the thumbs to 6 rows instead of 9.

Love love love this pattern more than 'Fetching'. I'll be getting around to knitting them when I have finished all of your yummy sock yarn in my stash. The Cindi Lauper colorway that I have taken to finishing up in public creates almost a frenzy like behavior in the knitters who spot it!
