FO post from a medication zombie

Soooooooo I'm slipping into zombie land right now. My doctor raised (well actually, she doubled it) my dose of migraine-preventing medication, and one of the side effects is "drowsiness." Apparently the 50mg dose I used to be on wasn't enough to affect me poorly (I had been on that dose for 5 or 6 years but never had a problem), but the 100mg is craptastic! I take the meds at night (for obvious reasons), and my first night with the new dose was Friday. On Saturday I was a total zombie. After sleeping in till 1pm (I didn't even do that IN COLLEGE) I got up, ate breakfast, and stared at the tv. I tried to knit a row but I didn't have any energy, so I went back to bed and slept till 4pm. Also, twice the dose gives me twice the heartburn! Awesome.

Since then the effect during the day has been less (though I have been sleeping later), but since I took the pills about an hour ago it's hitting me hard. Just typing is making me feel exhausted. Fun times! Anyway, onto the FO.

Purple Neckwarmer (#8)

Pattern: Fourteen by John Brinegar
Yarn: Berroco Foliage (53% wool, 47% acrylic), #5963, 1 skein, held double (*stashbusting*)
Needles: US #13 (9mm)
Finished size: 5" x 20"

The yarn was a gift from a swap pal, and was the perfect amount for a neckwarmer.

Modifications: I doubled the yarn and cast on 12 stitches and therefore did 2 buttonholes instead of 3. I did the buttonhole row as follows:

K2, K2tog, YO, K4, YO, K2tog, K2

I also did the same brioche stitch that I did for the Khaki Blues neckwarmer (the stitch pattern is towards the end).

Hmm. I look good blurry. Maybe all my FO shots will be blurry.
