2 FOs that I don't get to keep :(

Pattern: Baby Starghan from The Diva Crochets
Yarn: Dark Horse Fantasy (50% acrylic/50% nylon)
#81 - light peach; 1 skein
#34 - light rose; 1 skein
#33 - dark rose; 1 skein
#82 - plum; 1 skein
Hook Size: H
Finished size: about 36" x 36"
Modifications: I increased the number of DCs per round so it would lay flatter. Every other round I would add two DCs on both sides of the shell instead of one.
You can barely see the border on the top photo since it's about the same color as the blanket it was laying on--it's a really pretty pinkish/burgundy color, even though it looks kind of black in the pictures.

This is for my sister in law's relative who is having twins--I'm working on a blue version as well.

Pattern: Pomatomus Hat from West Coast Creative
Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Mediumweight, colorway: "Highway 30"; 1 skein
Needles: US #3 (3.25mm)
Modifications: I did 1.5 pattern repeats instead of two before starting to decrease. I tried it the other way and it ended up super long, but that may have been due to the needle size I chose.

This is another hat for Brie. I have a lot of the skein left over so I might make matching fingerless gloves. I definitely have to make one for myself now. :)

ohh i want to make one of those stargans! thats awesome looking!
I love both the hat and the blanket! I've been meaning to make that throw ever since I learned how to semi crochet. I even bought the yarn for it....like a year and a half ago. One day I shall conquer it. The hat is awesome. I'm going to have to make one of those, too, I think.
That starghan is adorable! And I love the hat - it looks totally fab.
That hat is awesome! The starghan makes me want to learn to crochet. :)
Oh my! You really have an eye for color Lindsay. That Pomatomus hat makes the most of that STR.
