FO: Star Stitch Neckwarmer (# 27)

Pattern: Holding Hands, Feeding Ducks by BeforeSunrise
Yarn: Manos Del Uruguay (100% wool), #32 - gasoline, 1 skein
Needles: US #10.5 (6.5mm)
Finished Size: 4" x 20"
Modifications: I CO 25 sts and knit 1x1 ribbing for 3 rows.

[knitting all knits and purling all purls]
Button band row 1: rib 4, (BO 3, rib 3)x 3
Button band row 2: rib 4, (CO 3, rib 4)x 3
Rib 3 more rows, then begin star stitch pattern. Knit until it's 20" from the CO edge.

I had started a short row hat with this yarn, but it was ending up kind of big and I probably would've ran out of yarn anyway, so I ripped it out and knit this up in a few days. I also got to delve into my kickass button collection. I have a drawer full of buttons now. Seriously Karoline, it's all your fault.

The color is called gasoline? Hum. I would never think of gasoline being that particular shade. Pretty though. Of course pretty soon a skein of Manos and a gallon of gas will be the same price, so maybe that is the connection.
