FO: Purple Chevaliers (#34)

Pattern: Chevalier Mittens by Tikru (also available as a Ravelry download)
Yarn: South West Trading Company Yin (60% wool, 20% silk, 20% bamboo), #824 "Desire", 2 skeins
Needles: US #5 (3.75mm)
Modifications: Like last time, I changed the very top of the mittens. The chart for the front side is here, and I did something completely different from last time for the top of the palm side. Why be consistent??
ANOTHER EDIT (i.e. damn I suck): I almost got BOTH mittens out of one 163yd skein--but sadly, I had to go to another skein to knit just the thumb on the second mitten. So close!!
These are actually a Christmas present for someone. Yes, I already started my Christmas presents. Though I'm willing to bet that it'll be the only present I start/finish before December.

I do have to say that I *LOVE* this yarn. Seriously, it's awesome. Go get some.
EDIT: Yes, this yarn is available at the Celtic Knot. I think we have 7 colors? ish? Something like that.
Aaaaaaaaaaand cat pictures!

Labels: cables, chevalier mittens, gloves, mittens, southwest trading company, yin
