FO: Striped Illusion (#37)

Pattern: Striped Illusion (Rav link) by Lynne Barr from Knitting New Scarves
Yarn: Lamb's Pride Worsted (85% wool, 15% mohair), M05 Onyx, 1 skein;
Noro Kureyon (100% wool), #188, 2 skeins
Needles: US #9 (5.5mm)
Finished Size: 7" x 58"
Modifications: I started out by following the chart. A few repeats in I just started to wing it--still following the set row pattern, but basically just changing where it would zigzag. I also didn't increase the number of rows in each pattern section, as the chart has you do.

I really love how this turned out with the Noro. It's a great design, but I think just using two solid colors doesn't show it off enough.

As always, I can't decide what to make next. I know I want to make a pair of fingerless gloves out of my sock yarn (in part so I can wear them at Stitches East), and I also want to make Short and Sweet out of Celestial Worsted. I just can't decide on the colors! I started a swatch for S&S with "She blinded me with science" and it looks really cool in variegated yarn. But I can't pick a frickin colorway. I may take a poll.
