Am I knitting too much?

So between Thursday and Friday I finished two scarves, and on Saturday I finished the first sock in a pair. I guess the Ravelympics has affected my production rates :) And my increased knitting is cutting down on my blog posting time. Ah well.

Red Cabled Scarf (#42)

Pattern: based on the Four Rib Braid from Barbara Walker’s Second Treasury.
Yarn: Brown Sheep Burly Spun (100% wool), in Prairie Fire, 1 skein
Needles: US #15 (10mm)
Finished Size: 6" x 40"
Blocking: I pinned it to a towel on the floor and then sprayed it heavily and let it dry. This makes the scarf curl less but doesn't deflate the cables.

I knit the majority of this in one day, and it's super thick.

Artichoke Scarf (#43)

Pattern: Chevron and Feathers Scarf from The Little Box of Scarves
Yarn: Ellyn Cooper's Yarn Sonnets Woolly Bear (100% wool), in Artichoke, 2 skeins
Needles: US #10.5 (6.5mm)
Finished Size: 9" x 80"
Blocking: wet blocked

I made this one wider than I usually do because I had a lot of yarn. It still ended up being ridiculously long.

I finished this sock yesterday evening (and yes it fits!). Today I started the second one and I'm pretty close to being finished. The heel gussets are done and all I have left to do is the rest of the foot and the toe. I finally stopped about a half hour ago because my bicep is hurting. How knitting caused that I'm not so sure, but it does seem to be related. (Yes, this is the new sock yarn in "The time I was radioactive")

I should go to sleep.

Can You knit too much? Has anyone ever died from too much knitting? Love the ´Hot´ socks, wish I had a pair like those back in my lab days, working with radio isotopes!

Love your blog.
