No more dyeing!

I will be closing my Etsy shop on January 31st so I can concentrate on my new job (and be less stressed about juggling a full time job and a business). There's still a lot of stock up there, so if you like it you should grab it now. I don't think I'll be doing much dyeing for quite a while, which is kind of a relief.

I hope everyone understands. It's been a great year and a half, but I need a vacation.

I have a lot of updates to make here, including spinning, awesome Etsy purchases, and Christmas presents I never posted about. I have barely been knitting because when I get home from work I'm usually too tired to do anything other than sit on the couch. But work is good. My personal life is less good, but I don't feel like talking about that. Now I'm going to go to bed and really enjoy sleeping in tomorrow.

Lindsay, everybody has a life and I admire your ability to prioritize. If you do this now, it will pay off later in some way you didn't even imagine.

And the rest of us? We will knit up these dreams you created and hope we are still around when the next bug bites.

Lindsay, kudos for you for putting what's most important FIRST. You can always come back to dyeing, and do it more for the pleasure than to fulfill a financial need.
You're still young, so go and do the things you need to in life and come back to this when you can.

On the flipside, I wished I had bought some of your yarn when I had the chance. Most of what's left has mohair, and I'm allergic.
Oh well, I guess.

Hi Lindsay! I met you at Stitches this year, I'm Large Marge's friend. I nominated you for the Kreativ Blogger award.
